By using the CartIQ Evidence-Engine, you agree to these scientific and usage standards.

1. The Evidence-Engine Methodology

CartIQ provides health insights based on an objective calculation: 60% Nutri-Score + 30% NOVA Group + 10% Additive Guard. You acknowledge that:

Scores are calculated using third-party data from Open Food Facts.
Our "Additive Guard" reflects regulatory standards from the EFSA and EPA, which may change over time.
A "Clean Cart" score (75+) is a tool for better shopping, not a medical guarantee.

Medical Disclaimer: CartIQ is an informational tool. We are not doctors. Always verify allergens and ingredient lists manually before consumption, as manufacturer data can change without notice.

2. AI Service Usage

You agree not to abuse the VoiceFlow AI or SmartScan AI features. Excessive automated requests or attempts to scrape our Evidence-Engine logic will result in immediate account termination.

3. Local vs. Cloud Security

While we use Supabase for industry-standard encryption, your biometric security is managed solely by your device's Android Keystore. You are responsible for the physical security of your device.
